- I have had the experience of making those choices a few years ago. I contacted one of the big 3's (can't mention which one). But, basically was told that if my bumper was original...Get it rechromed

- My 2 pence!!! 1. Everthing that is = or less than Moss, have plated. If this is an excellent plater, the coatings will be thicker, more polished, and look deeper............His prices aren't bad.....

- Actually..........all chrome plating, is triple plating..........nickle won't plate to steel, only to copper...........chrome won't plate to copper, only to nickle.........so it's always........chrom
