The frame piece is bent to make room for the cold air box. Knowing what I do about the cold air box, I would avoid adding one to a car. In my mind the only reason to have a cold air box is for origin

On my M-spec 100 BN1 ( hardly visible ) I build the engine with all the M-spec modifications except the cold air box. I just used the standard 100 air filters and modified them to fit H6 carbs. Looks
