I would not be surprised if the Holden unit is also manufactured by SMITHS. At least the resistance seems to be rather similar. From my mind the SMITHS figures are ca. 30-280 Ohm. Kees Oudesluijs Pet

The Smiths fuel sending unit is just a variable resistor - for the six cylinder Healey is 0 (empty) to 90-100 ohms (full). The temperature sensor is not the same - the bulb and the capillary tube ar
