- Then you need to adjust the steering box Kees if the ball joints etc are OK and it's still wandering. I have 2 Series 3s - a 79 LWB and a 76 SWB - both petrol. Both have no free play at the steering

- Everything in the steering and braking department is perfect, at least as far as that will go with a LR. Condition is better than new. I suppose I am used to far better steering classic vehicles. Not

- I had a Range Rover '87 2 door once... Green. It was a fantastic car and I do miss it... On highway.. In the mountains.. like a dream.. Never had problems Kees describes, and I did drive it up to 100
