Rebuilding the booster won't take you more than an hour's worth of work, it's an easy job unless the cylinder is shot. If it's shot, then the thing has to go to someone to be sleeved properly. Alan

Turn off the engine, operate the brake pedal a few times. Then push the brake pedal and keep it down, start the engine, the brake pedal should now sink noticebly. If not there is something amiss. Kee
