You misread. The page says from 660 Euros. If you want positive ground it is 140 euros extra. If you do not want to send in a core it is 150 euros extra. That equals 950 euros. Plus tax plus shipping

Go back and read for detail In the upper right hand corner it says FROM EUR 660 ADD EUR 150 for outright and ADD EUR 140 for positive ground. So to buy outright a positive ground unit it would cost 6

There are bound to be people who have fitted an electric clock from Smiths (or Jaeger UK which is the same). I have seen later Healey's with 110: instuments. These usually need a voltage stabiliser (
