I think restored YOM plates add the finishing touch to restored Healey. I have '53's on mine, front and rear. I agree that Healeys look better without a front plate but as Len says, they are required

The period correct plates will add the finishing touch to your car. The rear plate is mounted below the bumper. Do the same on the front. The aesthetic value of car will perserved and the cops won't
