Folks, remember that the TD wheel was not designed for tubeless tyres. Its wheel has one ridge where as the tubeless wheel has two ridges. So, don't forget the tubes! Gene Eliot, our'53 TD unrestored

Well, you may be right but I ran tubeless bias plies on my TD for 28 years until the sidewalls looked like a dry lake bed and I finally broke down and got some new Kumhos, also tubeless. No problems
