I'm in the process of converting the single ZS to dual HIF4's on my '77 MGB, and when I removed the intake and exhaust components I saw that the motor mount was cracked. I've got new mounts now, and

If you have a slim spanner (or grind one down) you should be able to undo the nut turning the spanner over for each half-flat. One it is loose you can remove the bolts securing the mount to the engin

Not sure I understand this. AFAIK the 77 and later mounts are to the same design (albeit slightly softer) than the V8 and the chassis brackets are identical. My V8 mounts have two holes in 'ears' on
