Tight enough not to leak, but not so tight as to break the banjo bolt. If it does not seal properly with only moderate torque you would need to replace the soft copper seal washers. Barney Gaylord 19

I had scoured the internet, ultimately finding some information from a motorcycle site. The info I culled from there indicated that 15 - 18 foot lbs was the proper figure. Then I got a reply off list
