IMHO both slotted and drilled rotors are a cheep way for optimizing the Both actions weaking the structure of the original. Better is to convert to vented rotors, which will need different callipers

There is a firm advertising slotted rotors. These would appear to have advantage, in that they could allow the vapors to squirt out the slots and to allow dissipation of steam if the rotors and pads
