For what it's worth, I have 175R15 Michelin X tires with tubes on my '53 MG-TD, installed in 1999, still like new given that I drive the car very little. I've also experimented with pressures. 28psi

Yup, 13 years is old for tires. It would most likely handle better with fresh Walter I usually run 28 in the front, 30 in the back. 13 year old tires should probably be replaced... Ron 58 MGA my MGA.

Hi Mark, You might try 30-32 PSI in front, and 28 PSI on the rear, this will give you proper front to back weight distribution, better handling, suffcient grip, less squeeling, and better gs consumpt

This might work for a TR4 but the MGA would understeer with these settings. The MGA likes even tire pressure or, for slightly better performance on our roads, more pressure in the back for slight ove

I run 28 front and rear in the Morgan. Seems to work. Tires don't turns and it doesn't try to break away. It seems modern tire pressures are all in the 30's which is for cars this light. Besides, the
