Hi guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR to start with... Got a guy with a 52 with a worn out 55-235 engine and wanting to replace the engine with as little hassle as possible and upgrade to a more modern 6 cylinder.

only bolt-up will be 216/235/261 get a GMC bellhousing for same year as truck and get a 228/248/270/302-superior motors! if you are willing to do some frame crossmembers then my personal choice for a

Maybe I'm not enough of a connoisseur, but I love my 235. It was very carefully rebuilt and it is rock solid and smooth. My truck is a 1959 Chevy 3200. The original engine was un-rebuildable so I got
