I was rather surprised a couple of weeks ago when I got a spam email I don't know how they did it, or how I can prevent it in the future, but I did some thorough scans, and bought this "Alpha Shield"

If you're into programming, you can create an email with any return address you want, including the recipient's. Makes it tough to block. There are plenty of places they can "harvest" email addresses
