Steven, I've always thought that manual writers err on the side of caution. If they say ATF is OK you can take it as being so. When you think about it ATF takes an awful lot of punishment in its norm

Myabe they are, maybe they're not. On the other hand, you change the outdrive oil once a year? And it costs you how much to do it with the fancy stuff? The same as running the engine for 20 minutes?
