The current will be fine, but I have some doubts about doubling the voltage. Plus, if I remember right, their light bulbs don't use the same base as ours. Randall ___________________________________

My understanding has been the current is more demanding of conductors, switches, etc than voltage. So doubling the voltage & halving the current should be ok. But you really need to go with code over
