That's not the important part, what's important is the water level in the pool, relative to the cut ends of the pipe. Sounds to me like your pool must be built up a bit higher than the ground where

I probably said that wrong. the cut ends of the plumbing are above the level of water in the pool. the pool is about as full as it always would be, and the pad area is just slightly above the deck of

Arrange to have the water flow over a small paddle wheel and generator, and drain back into the pool. You could use this setup to reduce or even eliminate your electric bill. Doug ___________________
