Traction is not gonna be that much different between a 205, 215, or 225. Tread footprint is not that much different. The brand and type of tire will affect the way the tire feels more than anything.

I've always wondered about tire width vs. rim width. In the days before radials you wanted a min. rim width almost as wide as the tread, but I think this is a bit less critical with radials. If you b

Rim width is just as important with radials. You should stick with the recommendations on the Tire Rack site for instance, leaning towards the wider side of the range if possible. For stock SHO V6 wh

The ZRi's tread pattern looks to me like it would work better for hard cornering and would work better in wet conditions. _______________________________________________ Shotimes mailing list Shotime

IMHO, I would call rim width more important with radials than with the old bias-plies. Radials, in general, have softer sidewalls by design. Keeping the rim width equal to the tread width is a good r

Yes, you can better realize the performance of the tire with the proper-sized rim. I have run 225 tires on slicers, but they are not optimal by any means, and you have to run more tire pressure (IMHO
