Hi all, I'm going about 5 hours from the house to pick up a '71 GT6. I'm told it was flooded in this past winters floods. It has had silt in the interior. That said, it's still in pretty good shape..

If you are going to tow it, do check the state of the Rotoflex couplings. Even if you aren't driving it under its own power they still spin with the halfshafts. You don't want one to fly apart at spe

Another point is are you willing to drive 5 hours with a dolly only to determine a trailer is needed? Check with U-Haul in the vicinity of the GT6 if you are doing this to reserve/standby a trailer.

Thanks to all that responded. Most thought I'd be NUTS to dolly the car home. I went with the 20' trailer & picked up a pretty decent 71 GT6. I'll get to posting some pix of all the gems in the back
