I think good shocks would make all the difference in the world. Other than that, everything else being equal (good springs, etc.) for touring I would think 1/4s can be as comfortable as 1/2s. _______

1/4s are harsher than 1/2s. I have a water line trench (paved over but still a rut) on my street. I have been crossing that rut for many years everytime I drive a Sprite. PIECES (1/2s) would hardly b
