I've got a 60 Bugeye for which I just purchased a new fuel tank. I removed the sending unit from the old tank and was quite surprised how nice it looked. No shellac or grunge of any kind. Does anybod

Dunno what the resistance figures may be; but, if you test it, and get a significantly different reading from one end of the float arm travel to the other, the unit is working just fine and you can

The bugeye sending unit has the following resistance readings: 0 Ohms = open circuit (broken wire) 14 Ohms = Full (up position) 90 Ohms = Half tank 258 Ohms = Empty These are for sending unit # FT530
