Certainly a valid point.. it's a 948.. well.. hmm.. it's actually bored 2mm over so I'm not sure what the displacement is.. but it started out as a 948.. Lester ______________________________________

I turned the head upside down, and used a pipette to run in a volume of water until the chamber is full. Not perfect I know as you are supposed to place some plexi or glass on the cylinder head to gi

I don't know whether I should be talking to Vigil or Lester, here. So, to whomever, one and/or all, as the case may be! :) I've never done the cc'ing of combustion chambers myself, but I ass-u-me bot

That, and the fact that the compression ratio is the ratio between the cyl. volume, and the combustion chamber volume. If you've bored the cylinders and resurfaced the head, it's nice to know what y

But did you use a concave or convex meniscus? I guess if you did 10 or so readings using both and averaged the readings, maybe? Crash I turned the head upside down, and used a pipette to run in a vol

My Longman head (not the $1500 one; this is the one about 1/2 that) is marked 21cc. I bought it new, never cc'd it. I spec'd pistons based on that. I was concerned last winter when I did the annual v

I've only worked with 1275's but... I think the stock 948cc motor had either 26 or 28cc combustion chamber vol (the different cc capacities for the three is in Vizard's) so in either case, it's seems
