As you all know there are three screws on each side that hold the windshield to the aluminium upright posts bolted to the body. A couple of those screws are stripped on my car. I found a guy to put a

Have you tried rethreading the holes (10/32) and using new screws? If the holes are stripped, try a 10/24 thread, or if it's really bad, you can go to a 12/24 thread but check out the screw heads, 12
