- I've been fighting with this off and on for months. I think I've checked everything. What else should I look for? Distributor (124 Ignition Dizzy) 1. Drive spindle is seated good, slot is aligned 2:0

- Firing order is off. Can be caused by: Plug wires going to wrong plugs Thinking that the dizzy is rotating one direction when it rotates the other Thinking that you are at TDC on #1 when you are real

- Something that I have done before in cases like this is to run a wire straight from the top of the coil to one of the plugs (plug wire is best but any wire will work). This gives that plug a spark 4

- If the engine is at TDC, the vac advance pointing at about 1:00, the rotor should be pointing at 2:00. Me thinks your dizzy drive is out by 90* Try moving the plug wires over 1 each. New firing order
