1500s had ZS or Zenith Stromburg carbs. I think a good old HIF6 will bolt on and work better. A Weber DGV carb and intake might also work better. Since many people upgrade to the Weber, you shouldn't

Well there's an oxymoron if I ever heard one!! good and zs used in the same sentence. Besides, unless the dpo swapped out the 1275 for a 1500, the 72 should have a 1275 (or is that a 1098) with dual

OK, ask him if the carb(s) are on the left (driver's in US) side of the car or the or the right side of the car. That will ID the motor as Spitfidget (1500) or A-series. Does it have an intake manifo

Hi Folks... I went over to Jim's house this morning... he's buggered his hand up doing a "Honey do"! Anyway, I thought he had a new car to play with!!! Butn it's the same '72 Midget with a 1275 (12V)
