Tis my opinion, from experence, that some clutch sets are improper, ie the throw out bearing is thiner by 1/4 inch than it should be. Some others have something else wrong with them that I don't unde

I would be interested to know if the 948/1098 is a bit thicker/ taller..... This would explain the clutch over-throw in the 73 I just put together. Kevin V. __________________________________________

Of the couple I have, one has offset ears, the other has the ears very close to the back of the metal shell. I don't know if what is in the Holy Sprite is correct or not, the clutch has been changed
