- I have an almost new Sears upright single stage 60 Gallon oil type compressor that has been a great tool to have for many uses. Recently I tried to turn it on and got nothing. I went to the fuse box

- Does the compressor motor have a reset button on it? Push down that button and see if it fires up. If not the points on the pressure switch may need a cleaning. Turn off the power before you open up

- Let me explain fully. Yes, there is a red reset button on the motor and it is not tripped. I opened the pressure switch box and the points work fine mechanically and are not burnt. They look like sh
