- I should learn NOT to jump to conclusions...!! I have just removed and cleaned the inlet manifold and SU's, and I find the following.. 1) The manifold is marked 12g1450 - which is correct for a 1275

- My guess is the tabs where the floats bolt on have sheared off. I have several SUs with snapped off tabs. They work fine with just the rubber grommet as long as you don't do roll overs or highly bank
