Easier to find an original gear drive unit on Ebay. They last for quite some time as long as you keep them lubed and check the two ends for tightness every time you are under the hood. The trick is

And, speaking of gear drive units, the speedo drive unit on my PA 5 speed conversion made a terrible noise turning a corner just before LotO and my speedo just quit. I have not looked at it yet, but
