Yes, it is the Austin crest ..emblem... whatever you call it, but what does is the significance. If it is a family crest, then what does it mean? Are there any heraldry buffs here? __________________

The crest as it appears on the Austin Healey Sprite is the same as the one that appeared on Austins long before Healey. I would assume that it is the Austin crest. The diamonds stand for "constancy",
