- Here in Santa Barbara, gas has been over $4 for a week now, I paid $4.21 for the cheap stuff last night. Never thought I would see the day (or maybe hoped I would never see the day) where it costs $6

- back when it was announced that "the gathering" was to be held in Missouri, i did my budget calculations. i figured $4.00 a gal/30 miles a gallon, $533 for gasoline alone. Last trip out i got over 3
