Basically 'cause we-really-tight. The ribcase was fried, no second gear. I had the smoothcase and it ran strong when I pulled it out of my parts car. Someday I'll have the money for the 5 speed Datsu

Other than the weaker synchros, the main difference between the smoothcase and the ribcase are the gear ratios. The ribcase has much closer ratios than the smoothcase. Just wondered about the backwar
