Problem with the remote amplifier? I heard the DM has the old GM HEI 4-pin module in it. (I haven't opened mine to check.) They're pretty cheap to replace, may be try that? -=Chris Chris King http:/

Same symptoms last June on racecar, practice day at Blackhawk Farms, with stock points though. Changed everything one at a time, it was the coil. Unless PPP recalls otherwise? Ron ___________________

I can't remember what the tach does. Unfortunately, the tach is your best diagnotic tool at the moment. Since the tach is monitoring pulses at the coil, if the pickup ceases to turn the coil on and

FWIW... I've been in the electronics game for over 50 years... Your symptoms are very indicative of a poor electrical solder joint or a hairline break in a wire. It gets hot... the connection opens..
