- More info needed. Is the genny locked up(won't turn)? Could the water pump be locked up? Smoke could be from genny internals or belt. Did the smoke smell "electrical" or like burned rubber? Or, both?

- If the water pump and genny turn freely by hand, then I would try tightening the belt again. Get the tension on the belt to where you can't turn the fan blade easily by hand. If you can turn the fan

- Thanks I figured it out while waiting, the belt had slipped off the lower pulley on the engine. It was tough to get off which is where the smoke came from. It is all together now and I even checked
