- Lester, Can't tell you where to buy them, I made my own buttons from teflon rod. The upper temperature range for virgin teflon is at least 400F. Don't use glass-filled teflon, too abrasive. John Foge

- Yes it would melt. It decomposes to a toxic gas around 450-500F. Never thought about a two stroke application, and don't know of any plastics that can operate there. John ____________________________
