- The news here in Kalifornia reported the most expensive gas in the country was in San Francisco at $3.79 and the least expensive was in New Jersey at $3.03. The difference is in the taxes each state

- I live on the Ontario / Quebec border. There is an additional 10 cents tax on the Quebec side, though I think with x miles of the border they are exempt from charging it so that they don't lose sales
