One of my tires sprang a bunch of leaks yesterday and got me thinking that now might be a good time to think about getting some new tires. I took the two front wheels down to a local Mom & Pop place

I ran 175/70s on my 73 RWA Midget. I like the way they rode and looked. But, since you are square, you'll have to stay skinny. This chart might help http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/45_conversi

Hi Robert, A 165 SR 13 would have a nominal aspect ratio of 82 to 85. Likely what he can get is just about the same as you now have on the car. Try one tire on the rubbing wheel and take it for a spi

R and S are probably the speed ratings of the tires - not that a stock Spridget could get anywhere near that. :-) Chip 65 AH Sprite with midget bits... Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry I ran

Thanks to everyone for their answers to my tire size question. I was able to get 4 - 165/80-13 Kumho tires mounted and balanced in time for the cruise in last night. Unfortunately for the cruise in i

I was skeptical about Kumho tires but tried a set on my truck because the Goodyear Eagles I wanted were out of stock everywhere. The Kumhos did well. I have a set on the Miata now and they are doing

Better than I expected. I like to "play in the rain". The Kumhos have too much wet traction for me. Well, not really, but I will probably get a set of Falken Azenis next which are supposed to have te

You will be even more disappointed then, derf. Azenis have the best wet traction of any performance-oriented tire I have met. Quite the opposite of the old Goodyear Eagles which slid if you spit out
