- If it were me, I'd get the one that was running strong. If I remember correctly, the engines that were rebuilt by BMC under warranty were painted gold and had serial numbers starting with 'U'. I can'

- Without being able to pass judgement on the quality of the 2 engines or their condition, all being equal I would lean toward building the 67-69 as it should have the hardened crank and the cool rods
