- Whats the correct SU fuel pump for a 73 midget? Does it have banjo connections, or hose + clamp arrangements? Someone hacked a universal vibrator type under my midget... (and it leaks) -- Marc _____

- Should be an AUF-300, with hose & clamp type connections. The MGB uses the banjo connection type. I suggest you ignore recommendations for any non-original fuel pump, as anyone complaining of unreli

- I suggest that you ignore recommendations from the originality nuts as well. None of the Spridgets I have ever bought have come with a functional SU pump. None of the aftermarket pumps that they did

- AFAIK... when the SU fuel pump fails it is nearly always due to the point contact failing inside the pump. I took my original SU fuel pump, modified it to use transistor switching... It still "clicks
