- Z-S s have an o-ring for the adjustable needle assembly. When that allows, the oil gets sucked in very quickly. Moss # 365-420 A buck and change. Fiddly bit to replace, though. _____________________

- It has to do with the vapor pressure of the oil; motor oil is pretty good, even 5W or 10W. That's also why we don't use WD-40 (gone overnight). The 1 7/8" SU on my H-D Shovelhead runs with NO oil, by
