- Rev the engine up to 6000rpm (at least) engage 1st gear and dump the clutch. Repeat 10-12 times and if the halfshafts survive they are good ones..... Daniel1312 ______________________________________

- The old ones twisted when they failed. the later ones just snap off clean. But they are a whole lot easier to get the stub out when they break clean. Try beating a twisted hunk of axle out of diff. A
