If I have a 1974 TR6 and I will not be using any of the smog stuff or any of the warning lights and buzzers, etc, and I need a new wiring harness would there be any problem with me using, say, a 1969

Are you going to swap out the voltmeter for an ammeter? Since the 69 harness supports the latter and not the former, sticking with the 74's gauges will require some redesign, though not much. If you
