Dave, presumably you have a Heritage Certificate to confirm the build date? The fact your car was built in Sept 1957 is entirely possible and I'd guess it was built as a widemouth as well. Why so ear

One thing that might be interesting to look for : the TR3 had holes in the inner wings (fenders) behind the front turn signal lamps. The rear of the lampholder actually stuck out into the wheel well
