My brother owns a Smart car and a 3/4 ton dodge pickup, both diesel have engines (that's about all they have in common). The Smart car takes synthetic or semi-synthetic oil so he was wondering if the

He s had a couple of conflicting expert opinions from diesel mechanics, Cummins says not to use synthetic oil on any engine with solid lifters. Neither one of us can figure out why that would matte

Hi Folks Enquiring minds need to know, how does this affect our Triumphs as I am guessing that most if not all of our cars fall in to the solid lifter bracket, are they at risk of cam / follower fail
