I was hearing some light banging on my right rear on bumps, jacked up my '74 TR6 and I found a small amount of in and out movement on the right rear wheel. The left side feels tight. I am hoping that

This normally is an indication that the bearing in the rear hub is shot. Rebuilding the hub isn't really a DIY job but replacing it with a rebuilt hub is. You can purchase rebuilt units on an exchan

I agree with Terry, I would certaily check the hub nut first, but it is more likely the bearing. Take his advise & buy a rebuilt hub assy or have it done at a competent machinist. You need some wher

Actually if there is a triumph club close by you could contact them to see if anyone has a Churchill hub puller. The Churchill hub puller willpop it off in about 10 seconds. You would never belive it
