Here's the sad scenerio: We're installing the hood on my TR4A following a new paint job. While adjusting the front hinges, we allowed the hood to latch (at the back). Now the latch will not release.

Just curious, The trany ( with o/d ) in my TR3 has both a "fill to" hole on the side of the case, and a dipstick on top. the levels are not the same. the dipstick is somewhat higher, about 1 and 1/2
