I've just rebuilt the front end on my 60 TR3 replacing all the bushings (with nylon), ball joints, tie rod ends and silentblocs and now I'm trying to track down the cause of a sound in the steering.

My guess would be a bent center link causing a silentbloc to bind. But that's just a WAG. Get one of those magic pullers we've mentioned before, they make disconnecting joints a snap. First step is

I competed the same job on my 60 about a month ago. I will say that I am highly suspicious of the quality of the repro silent blocs. My steering is heavier to the right than the left. The car drives
