I believe the factory did not use adhesive in this area, as the seal is supposed to interlock with the frame. Usually, people start adding adhesive after the seal gets old and starts to tear. Randal

Can this be done with the windshield on the car, or have you removed it and dissassembled it because of interference from those chrome plates at the side? I really don't want to take it apart again,
