Doug - I would reference Kas Kastner's Competition Prep manual on this. Kas found that a single exhaust for TR6/GT6 engines made more power and torque except at the top end of RPM's. He found that 2

Actually, the exhaust manifolds ARE interchangable. It is the intake port spacing that is different on the early and late heads, so you can't swap INTAKE manifolds. Irv Korey 74 TR6 CF22767U Highland
