- You need to modify the top cover of your gearbox and fit an overdrive isolator switch or change to a TR250 or TR6 top cover. I mounted mine under the bumper on the left side. Wire color was green on

- If you mean the shaft that the steering wheel fits onto, it's 3/4" where it enters the tube that goes through the firewall - per my measurement. Sorry, I don't think I made the 1/2 hour time limit. _
